You’ve started your life science company and are now working on a proof of concept and a plan for commercialization. Your innovation may drive the development of new drugs, diagnostics, or technology platforms to help patients. This small group session will focus on understanding the value of a company’s underlying assets, even without launched products, revenue or pre-clinical milestones. The facilitators will review several approaches to asset validation in the life sciences, discuss some common mistakes in IP licensing that can impact a company’s worth, and look at best practices in data-driven approaches to setting valuations.
