Wilson Sonsini Advises Pathway on Seed Funding Round

On August 11, 2026, Pathway, a frontier lab building architectures and models that has created post-transformer models, announced additional funding at a $500 million valuation. The new capital brings the company's total seed financing to $30 million and will be used to increase compute capacity. The round included Id4 Ventures, TQ Ventures, Red Bridge Ventures, Kadmos Capital, WS Investment Co., the investment arm of Wilson Sonsini, and angel investor Jonathan Frankle, Chief AI Scientist at Databricks. Wilson Sonsini advised Pathway on the transaction.

The Wilson Sonsini team that advised Pathway included Rezwan Pavri, Lester Ang, Andrew Lu, and Jenna Tobin.
